Open Class
An opportunity to perform in the beautiful setting of
Lanercost Priory. A programme of your choice will be assessed by the
distinguished adjudicator Gareth Green.
The following categories are eligible: piano,
vocal, strings, woodwind, brass, guitar, accordion, tuned
percussion. There are two classes, one for under fifteen years
(programme up to 10 minutes, guideline grade 5/6 standard) and one
for under nineteen years (programme up to 12 minutes, guideline
grade 7/8). Accompanists are available for rehearsal and
performance, if required.
The winner of each class will
receive a trophy and the title “Lanercost Young Musician of the
